About this file
This document is a set of questions and answers pertaining to the United States Deorbit Vehicle solicitation number 80JSC023R0003 issued by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Johnson Space Center. The solicitation seeks proposals from offerors to provide deorbit vehicles to remove spacecraft from low Earth orbit at the end of their operational lives in order to minimize orbital debris. The scope of work will require the successful offeror to integrate technical inputs with NASA and coordinate with international partners similarly to current International Space Station operations. NASA will lead engagement with international partners regarding details such as the offeror's development progress, the reliability and safety of proposed deorbit vehicles, and any operational impacts.

C-14 Can NASA clarify the specific scope of work the USDV provider is anticipated to support with ISS international partners?
What types of technical interactions are envisioned to be necessary?
The scope of work is anticipated to be similar to how ISS operates today with ISS International Partners where NASA will integrate the technical inputs (e.g., development status of USDV, reliability of USDV, safety of the USDV, operational impacts) from the Offeror throughout the project lifecycle, and NASA will hold the discussions with the International Partners.
