General Comments:
Tower Engineering Professionals (TEP) removed the existing corroded safety climb system, installed a new safety climb system, and cleaned the A-Leg foundation and baseplate for the above referenced site. The removal and installation was performed by Bryan Gilliam and Ryan Barger of TEP during the November 30, 2017 site visit. The installation was in accordance with the Scope of Services for tower inspections, maintenance, and repairs of U.S. Coast Guard Towers dated March 2017, the U.S. Coast Guard Tower Manual CIM M11000.4A, FAA AC 70/7460-1L, TIA-322, ANSI/ASSE

Chronological Narrative:
TEP arrived onsite at 10:30am. We began by conducting a tail gate safety meeting with all involved and completing a job safety analysis form. Work began at 10:45am with a ground and tower base inspection. We began climbing the tower at 11:00am and removed the existing safety climb cable. During the safety climb cable removal, the baseplate was cleaned and covered with cold galvanizing compound. At 11:15am the safety climb bracket at the base of the tower was cleaned and covered with cold galvanizing compound. At 11:45am we began installing the new safety climb cable. At 12:30pm the safety climb system was fully installed. All maintenance repairs were noted and photographed.
TEP left the site at 1:00pm.
