About this file
This statement of work outlines requirements for a renovation project involving two judges' chambers at a federal courthouse. The project includes demolition of existing finishes and fixtures as well as installation of new flooring, casework, lighting, and other items. Renovations will include new resilient flooring and wall base in copy rooms, mini blinds, draperies, bookshelves, cabinets, countertops, carpeting, and fresh coats of paint. Mechanical work involves new electrical outlets for appliances, relocation of devices, and plumbing for dishwashers. The schedule requires substantial completion within 60 days of notice to proceed.
This multiple award task order contract solicitation seeks proposals for construction, repair, alteration, design-build, and abatement services across counties in five states. The small business set-aside contract has a one year base and four one year options, not to exceed five years total. Task orders will range from $2,000 to $3.5 million and the maximum order is $5 million annually per zone. Evaluation factors are past performance and hypothetical projects, with award to up to six contractors per zone providing best value. The pre-proposal conference date and submission deadline are stated in the solicitation, which is available electronically with amendments posted online.
