Task Order Price Proposal Format Instructions Contractors must use RSMeans line items (such as hardcopy, online version, other software, etc.) to prepare task order proposals using the Facilities Construction and Facilities Maintenance & Repair Open Titles.

To ensure consistency in the way proposals are provided, create price proposals in the following format...

LeeAWhite Typewritten Text See more explanatory notes on last page

Include on Proposal • Division line number

• Description of what is included in the line item

• Quantity

• Unit of measure

• Total Material cost

• Total Labor cost

• Total Material +

Labor

• Contractor’s divisional factor

• General Contractor’s totals by division

Note: Overhead, indirect costs and profit are already included in the divisional factors and should not be listed as separate line items. The factors should be calculated against the RSMeans Bare Cost, using the zip code of the project location.

Custom inputs not contained in the RSMeans database can be included as Non-scheduled items
