About this file
This is a Minimum Requirements form for a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) for Miscellaneous Construction Via Job Order Contracting at LAX and VNY facilities. LAWA seeks supplementary construction and repair services through Job Order Contracting (JOC) as a means of completing facility repair, alteration, and minor new construction projects. The RFP anticipates awarding contracts with a combined estimated value of $6,000,000 for a three-year term. Contract awards do not guarantee work, as services will only be performed upon LAWA's issuance of individual Task Orders. Proposers must register and submit responses through the Bonfire portal, with regular updates and addenda available in the Public Notices tab.
The Minimum Requirements form establishes mandatory qualification criteria that all proposers must satisfy to remain eligible. The primary minimum qualification requirement is that proposed staff must possess a California Contractor's "B" License. Any proposer indicating "not qualified" to this requirement will result in automatic rejection of their RFP response. The form requires authorized representatives to execute the document under penalty of perjury, warranting the accuracy and completeness of all responses. LAWA reserves the right to deem responses non-responsive and exclude respondents from further participation if any responses are determined to be false, misleading, or contain misstatements of fact.
