About this file
This document is a bid form (Addendum 1) for the Pump Station 43 Improvements project for the City of Tallahassee, Florida. The project involves comprehensive infrastructure replacement and renovation, including removal of an out-of-service forcemain, installation of approximately 675 linear feet of 18-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) force main, placement of an existing forcemain out of service, installation of a surge tank and kingpin manhole, and relocation of a chemical tank. The project also includes surface restoration work such as asphalt patching, milling, resurfacing, and arboricultural mitigation. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST via Microsoft Teams, with specific connection details provided.
The bid form includes a detailed schedule of bid items across multiple categories, including general contract items, road surface restoration, miscellaneous surface restoration, sanitary sewer utilities, and surge tank and chemical feed tank installations. The itemized list covers numerous specific tasks with associated quantities, such as mobilization, maintenance of traffic, tree removal, fence installation, sewer main removal and installation, concrete work, and bypass pumping. While the unit price fields are currently blank, the document provides a structured framework for contractors to complete their pricing. The project appears to be funded by local municipal infrastructure funds, with an emphasis on comprehensive utility improvement and replacement.
