About this file

The vendor, founded in 1974, operates throughout Arizona with offices in Tucson and Phoenix and offers comprehensive pest management services including residential, commercial, and government services. The company proposes to provide pest control services covering multiple Arizona regions, with emergency response capabilities within a two-hour timeframe and preventative treatment protocols utilizing chemicals effective for 60 days to ensure 30-day service coverage intervals. The vendor demonstrates experience performing similar scopes of work for over 30 years and confirms staffing capacity to service all requested areas monthly. The proposal solicitation was posted on March 19, 2025, with proposals due by April 9, 2025.

The vendor confirms all technicians hold minimum core pest licenses, with many holding additional termite and herbicide licenses, and commit to 8 hours of annual training plus in-field training under management supervision. Service offerings include multiple treatment options such as glue boards, gel baits, and green chemicals for chemically sensitive environments. Key personnel identified for contract coordination include Stefan Moreno (Contract Coordinator), Nick Lampert (Operations Manager), and Ryan Horn (Owner). The vendor provides dispatching through multiple office staff with escalation protocols and indicates no anticipated staffing or service delivery constraints. Specific pricing terms, budget amounts, set-asides, and contract duration details are not addressed in this questionnaire response.

Questionnaire

1. Our minimum level of technical expertise that we require of our new hires is the ability to pass the required licensing tests. From there, we require that they complete 8 hours of additional training per year along with in-field training from on management staff.

1.1. Our technicians hold at a minimum their core pest licenses, with many holding termite and herbicide licenses as well.

1.1.1. Our minimum level of technical expertise that we require of our new hires is the ability to pass the required licensing tests. From there, we require that they complete 8 hours of additional training per year along with in-field training from our management staff.

1.1.2. All of our positions are necessary and we expect to keep them all.

1.2. We were founded in 1974 and have continued to expand to the point that we cover most of Arizona. Our corporate office is in Tucson but we also have an office in Phoenix, where we have multiple technicians that live and work in the area. We started as a residential company but now have our own government services department and also deal with a large number of commercial accounts.

1.3. The services requested in this scope of work are no different than the majority of the scopes that we deal with on a daily basis with our customer base. We have been performing this type of scope for over 30 years.

1.4. We have multiple staff in our office that field emails and calls. If the request is outside of their scope, they forward it on to the proper individuals.

1.5. Stefan Moreno (Contract Coordinator, main POC for this contract)>Nick Lampert (Operations Manager)>Ryan Horn (Owner)

2. We have staff that heads to nearly all areas of Arizona on a monthly basis so we don’t foresee any issues with covering these areas. If a staffing issue arose, we would pay a technician from a different coverage area to cover those stops until a permanent solution was found.

3. As soon as an emergency call is received, it will immediately be dispatched to the closest technician to have the service completed within the requested two hour timeframe.

4. All chemicals that we use have an effective timeframe of 60 days from application so we feel confident that our coverage will last for 30 days.

5. We have glue boards, gel baits, and green chemicals for chemically sensitive individuals.

6. See attached licenses.
