The base bid items include vessel transportation and delivery (mob/demob and tug services), temporary services, haul out and blocking, hull cleaning and inspection, sea valve servicing, wheelchair lift repair and service, ultrasonic hull measurements, underwater and above-waterline hull preparation and painting per SSPC standards, replacement of name and homeport letters, and replacement of 20 sacrificial anodes. Optional items encompass steel repairs including plate doublers, inserts, and replacements in various thicknesses and locations; clad welds; structural steel shape repairs for angle irons and T-bars; rivet repairs and caulking through bobbing, frenching, ring welding, and replacements; plate seam caulking; preparation and coating of internal spaces including the figurehead, forepeak, chain locker, main hold, forecastle, tween deck, and underwater hull with various coating options; epoxy void filling; deck caulking; wood decking replacement across multiple deck areas with options for long leaf pine or pitch/yellow pine; and hardwood margin board and belt replacements. The price schedule template shows all line items with blank pricing fields requiring contractor completion, with instructions that contractors are responsible for verifying calculation accuracy.

Notice: Refer to FAR Clause 52.217-5, Evaluation of Options, as prescribed in FAR 17. Offerors are required to submit, at a minimum, an offer that conforms to the solicitation documents with pricing for Base line items and all option line items. Failure to do so may render the proposal unacceptable. On lump-sum line items, provide the total price only. For all unit-priced line items, provide the unit price and the extended total price. If no specific line item exists for a portion of the work, include the costs in a related item. In case of error in calculation of extended prices, the unit price governs. In case of errors in summations, the total of the corrected amounts govern. Round totals and extended prices to whole dollars. The Government reserves the right to award any or no options at or after the time of award. At the option of the Government, the period for exercise of options at the proposed prices shall extend 180 calendar days from the date of ship haul out.
