UNSPSC 90150000: Entertainment services

UNSPSC 90150000 Entertainment services, a Family code, encompasses event planning, production coordination, and talent or vendor services that state and local governments procure for public programs, community celebrations, and operational support. Recent state and local solicitations show government bodies buying turnkey event management (outdoor movies, parade planning, drone light shows), conference and meeting logistics (venue selection, catering coordination, audiovisual support), and specialized event services such as bike valet operations and venue restoration. The issuing-body mix spans city governments (Peoria, Dallas, Long Beach, Fort Myers), county commissioners (Hillsborough, Orange, Pasco, Marion, Solano), independent school districts (San Antonio, Garland, Pasadena), state departments (Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Colorado Health Care Policy and Financing), and specialized agencies (Western Regional Education Service Agency in Michigan, Integral Care nonprofit in Texas). Cities and counties dominate recent solicitation volume, with school districts and state agencies present but less frequent in the recent opportunities block.

Recent activity concentrates in Florida (Hillsborough County, Orange County, Marion County, Pasco County), Colorado (state department procurements), Texas (San Antonio ISD, Pasadena ISD, Dallas, Garland, Lubbock), and California (Long Beach), with secondary activity in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Representative recent opportunities include the City of Peoria's RFP for turnkey outdoor movie event management services (due July 30, 2026), the City of Dallas's RFP for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. parade planning services (due July 10, 2026), Hillsborough County's ITB for senior meal preparation and delivery services estimated at $17.8 million over three years (due June 25, 2026), and Orange County, Florida's solicitation for supply and installation of traffic signal equipment at $20 million over five years (due July 21, 2026). The code also captures niche services: Integral Care's RFP for conference venue, catering, and event support for an employee conference (due May 29, 2026), the City of Long Beach's RFP for bike valet services (due June 17, 2026), and Ocean County, New Jersey's quotation for drone light display services (due April 7, 2026, now closed). Activity spans event-specific procurement (one-time celebrations, conferences) and ongoing service contracts (meal programs, cabling, signal maintenance) where entertainment and logistics overlap with government operations.
