About this opportunity

The City of South Fulton, Georgia is seeking competitive proposals for the design, fabrication, delivery, installation, cabling, connection, configuration, and testing of custom City Council daises at two separate locations - the Southwest Arts Center and the Welcome All Park Recreation Center. The selected contractor will be responsible for constructing the daises to meet detailed specifications, including being segmented and on heavy-duty casters for easy relocation, having cabling for electrical and audiovisual equipment, and providing social distancing between seated occupants. Proposals are due by June 6, 2024 at 3:00 PM ET. The initial contract term is for one year with four one-year renewal options, and the city will evaluate proposals based on criteria including the proposer's experience, qualifications, project approach, and cost. The total contract value is not to exceed a not-to-exceed amount, and the city reserves the right to award to multiple proposers.

The City of South Fulton is exempt from federal excise tax and Georgia sales tax, and the successful proposer must comply with the Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act. The RFP does not mention any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, nor does it list any incumbent vendors or current contractors. The RFP also does not provide a budget range for the project.
