About this opportunity
The General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service is seeking proposals for a National Elevator Modernization Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for elevator construction and modernization task orders valued over $1 million. GSA intends to award up to six IDIQ contracts for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods, with a maximum total value of $650 million. The IDIQ scope includes surveying, designing, installing, and commissioning elevators and escalators. GSA requests questions on the draft solicitation by April 11, 2024, with the final RFP planned for release on or around April 19, 2024, allowing approximately 30 days for proposal submission.
This opportunity is open to all businesses, with a small business designation based on NAICS code 238290 (Other Building Equipment Contractors) and a $22 million average annual receipts size standard. GSA does not intend to use any set-aside designations. The agency plans to concurrently release solicitations for two initial task orders as part of this IDIQ. The IDIQ will be for nationwide elevator modernization and construction projects, with the potential for multiple incumbents across the $650 million program.
