Requests for Information

1. (ProjNet Inquiry ID 12018255) Sheets 01-ED101 (Demolition Plan - Sub-Basement 01 - Power - Option Bid 0005) and 01-EP101 (Floor Plan - Sub-Basement 01 - Power - Option Bid 0005) are both noted "NO SCALE." Please provide scaled versions of these sheets, or dimensions sufficient to quantify the new generator feed routing and associated work within the Building 1 sub-basement.

See 12018255_01-ED101_01-EP101-Response attached. Both sheets are at 1/8" = 1' scale.

The sheets have been updated to reference this scale.

2. (ProjNet Inquiry ID 12018676) Ref. Critical Utilities - Specification requires advance notice and work shall be completed during daylight hours near major and critical utilities. Please clarify the term near (5, 10, 50 feet) and indicate which utilities are considered major and critical.

"Near" shall be considered to be within 10 ft. All utilities considered to be major and critical include all medical gas, natural gas, steam/condensate, chilled water supply and return, to and within the utility plants and buildings 1, 2, 27, and 34, primary main domestic water and fire protection water services, serving the campus, main communications feeds, and all primary medium voltage electrical feeders.

3. (ProjNet Inquiry ID 12018711) Ref. Partnering - Par. 1.7 requires partnering within 45 calendar days and 1.7.1.a says 35 calendar days. Which is correct?

See 12018711_Spec013000_Response attached. 45 days is correct.

4. (ProjNet Inquiry ID 12018718) Ref. Follow-on Partnering - Follow on partnering (par. 1.7.1.f) assigns three to six month intervals where Senior Advisory Group indicates quarterly frequency. Will follow-on partnering be required quarterly or biannually?

See 12018718_12018724_Spec013000_Response attached. Follow on partnering will be required at 6 month intervals.

5. (ProjNet Inquiry ID 12018724) Ref. Follow-on Partnering - Will the follow-on partnering be held off base in a meeting room, similar to the Initial Partnering Session or can the follow-on meetings be held virtually?

See 12018718_12018724_Spec013000_Response attached. Follow on partnering shall be in person and meeting room to be responsibility of the contractor.

6. (ProjNet Inquiry ID 12029577) C-011 provides a general description for BID Option 6 but there are no electrical design drawings provided for this option. Has a design been developed for BID Option 6 or will the contact at UI provide this information? Please confirm the pricing for the BID option is inclusive of all work associated with the option if no additional drawings are available.

See VA Hospital New Customer Load Report - 7_28_26 attached. Your interpretation is correct; pricing for Option Item 0006 is inclusive of all work associated with the option.
