About this file

This Substitution Request #3 document pertains to the Oregon Department of Forestry's Santiam Fire & Administrative Buildings Construction project (Invitation to Bid #S-DASOBO-00015003) and details four product substitution requests submitted before the January 6, 2025, 8:00 AM deadline. Of the four substitutions requested, three were approved: Taylor Metal Products "Easy Lock" 24-gauge 18-inch coverage PVDF paint system for architectural metal roof panels, Hanwha Wave video management and recording system, and Liberty Cable CAT6E for cable wire and accessories. One substitution request for metal toilet compartments was denied. The document includes detailed technical specifications and product documentation for the approved Taylor Metal Products roofing substitution, which replaces the originally specified Metal Sales "Vertical Seam" 24-gauge 18-inch coverage PVDF paint system. The product documentation provided includes comprehensive load tables, testing and approvals certification, and fastening specifications for the vertical seam panel system.

The substitution requests were submitted by various contractors and vendors, with contact information provided for key representatives including Andy Shofner from Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation and Mary Fierros Bower. The Metal Sales product documentation indicates availability across multiple geographic regions with extensive distribution centers nationwide and compliance with multiple testing standards including UL ratings for fire and impact resistance, ASTM standards for air leakage and water penetration, and ICC evaluation approval. The approved substitutions align with the project's construction requirements for the replacement fire station and administrative office buildings, which are estimated to cost between $7.5 million and $8.5 million with substantial completion targeted for May 30, 2027.

Lightweight. Powerful. Server Hive.

The Wisenet WAVE server application is the foundation of the entire platform - with the ability to operate independently or as one part of a hive.

It's available as a downloadable software application from the Hanwha Vision website which enables installers to quickly download, install and configure the full solution in minutes.

The server application also provides a detail user audit trail including viewing and exporting as well as real-time health and storage monitoring and camera failover support. The supporting web-based application enables each Wisenet WAVE platform to be managed as a stand alone system or as part of a larger, scalable video management solution.
