(4) BASE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

- Our MQ-9 pilot squadron requires us to be available to refuel their generator at any time. This requirement includes after hours and during snow storms. This may further require refilling the C-301 at any time.

- Anticipated in FY20, there are plans to remove one tank area, and build new tanks at the existing tank area requiring numerous escorts in and around the Contractors AOR.

- The Contractors AOR is the only place fuel bowsers can be drained. The bowser draining schedule from

Maintenance is unpredictable and can happen after hours. Standby personnel may be required to work.

- Product recovery takes approximately 20 minutes per tank. During Spring/Fall months, temperature fluctuation is extreme and water draw off systems need to be operated twice daily for approximately 3 hours total task duration daily

- Monthly hydrant flush takes approximately 4 hours; low point draining takes approximately 2 hours

- Tank to tank transfers between area C and area D occur usually once per week for approximately 8 hours

- Escorting personnel in the bulk storage areas for system and grounds maintenance, environmental testing, etc.:

previous 12 months totaled 2,230 hours with 1,181 personnel entries logged; simultaneous escorting in multiple areas occur approximately 10-20 percent

- Pipeline receipts: one occasion required operator to remain until 0200 due to smart pig operation delay

-Supplemental to PWS para C-5.3, Contractor is responsible for monitoring levels of any oil/water separators or water accumulation pits, ensuring pits are free of debris, and coordinating with Base Civil Engineering for water release or disposal

- Supplemental to PWS para C-5.3 and C-5.8.2.1, Contractor is responsible for properly collecting waste water drawn from product recovery or other sources and coordinating with Base Civil Engineering for disposal

– Supplemental to PWS para C-5.8.2.1, Contractor is responsible for safe handling of hazardous waste generated from routine operations and maintenance and coordinating with via Base Civil Engineering for disposal
