About this file
This file is a detailed specification document for the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project at the Butler VA Medical Center in Butler, Pennsylvania. The project involves comprehensive infrastructure improvements across multiple buildings, including electrical, mechanical, and telecommunications systems upgrades. Specific scope includes infrastructure enhancements for 12 buildings (Buildings 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 20, 21, 30, 46, 47, 48, and a standalone data center), with work encompassing power distribution, building management system interfaces, HVAC upgrades, space reconfiguration, cabling, and physical security improvements.
The competitive solicitation is set aside exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) with a project value between $20-50 million. The project will require third-party commissioning and adherence to sustainability requirements, with a focus on systems integration, energy efficiency, and comprehensive testing of electrical, communication, fire suppression, and security systems. The work must be completed in accordance with VA specifications and drawings, with careful coordination required to minimize disruption to the medical center's ongoing operations.
