About this file
This is a Nonsegregated Facilities Certification form for the Kenton County Airport Board's Concourse A Ramp Level Office Upgrades project at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The document serves as a compliance certification that bidders must submit, confirming they do not maintain or provide segregated facilities for employees and will not permit employees to perform services at locations where segregated facilities are maintained. The certification applies to federally-assisted construction contracts and related subcontracts exceeding $10,000 that are not exempt from the Equal Opportunity Clause. Bidders must obtain identical certifications from proposed subcontractors prior to subcontract awards exceeding $10,000 and retain these certifications on file. The project involves renovation of approximately 20,000 square feet on the Ramp Level of Concourse A, with a pre-bid meeting and site visit scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 10:00 am at CVG Airport. Questions are due by 11:59 pm on Friday, April 17, 2026, with answers posted by Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Bids must be received by Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 2:00 pm.
The certification defines segregated facilities as waiting rooms, work areas, restrooms, restaurants, time clocks, locker rooms, storage areas, transportation, and housing facilities segregated by explicit directive or in fact on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders must complete and sign the certification form, providing their business name, authorized signature, printed name and title, business address, and IRS Employer ID number. False statements in the certification are subject to penalties prescribed in 18 U.S.C. Section 1001. This certification is a mandatory requirement for participation in the federally-assisted construction project.
