PRE-PROPOSAL QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
RFP N62742-23-R-1308
FY20, MCON PROJECT P-459B, MCB CAMP BLAZ PARKING, US NASUPPACT MCB
CAMP BLAZ, GUAM
NOTE: The following questions and answers are provided for INFORMATION ONLY.
The RFP remains unchanged unless it is amended in writing on a Standard Form 30.
1. The RFP states that a relevant construction project is defined as: Construction of an asphalt parking lot to include paving, site improvements and site lighting, with a dollar value of $5M or more.
May we know if an Asphalt Road Paving Project and not an Asphalt Parking is relevant.
RESP: Asphalt Road Paving will not be considered a relevant project. Please see Amendment 0001 which revises the relevant project description. Dollar value has been removed
2. While reviewing the solicitation package, we noticed that solicitation requires past performance project valued at minimum $5 Million specific to parking lot paving alone. Also, current requirement of $5 Million parking lot pavement will disqualify most (if not all) of the Guam based companies and gives advantage to handful of off island companies. As such, we are respectfully requesting you to allow to utilize the project(s) overall value of $5 Million as part of past performance and experience.
RESP: Please see Amendment 0001 which revises the relevant project description.
Dollar value has been removed.
3. Searched the RFP for the subject project, but was unable to locate the exact location where the site visit would take place. The provided map isn't very detailed.
RESP: Please see attached.
