About this file
This file is Amendment 0006 to solicitation N6247024R0001 for Base Operations Support (BOS) Services at U.S. Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay, Crete, Greece. The amendment revises Section C's Management and Administration Annex (0200000) which details requirements for project management, quality control, safety programs, environmental management, and security procedures. Key requirements include providing key personnel (Project Manager, Quality Manager, Site Safety Officer), maintaining security clearances, implementing safety and environmental protection plans, and utilizing the government's NAVFAC Maximo system for maintenance management.
The amendment specifically updates requirements related to obtaining base access passes, security procedures, crane operations safety, accident reporting, and environmental compliance at NSA Souda Bay. Technical changes include revised procedures for submitting base access requests 45 days in advance for new personnel, requirements for crane operation certifications and inspections, updated accident/incident reporting timeframes, and clarified environmental management system (EMS) requirements. The amendment maintains the original solicitation response date of September 5, 2024 and adds approximately 250 pages of detailed operational requirements.
