About this file
This is Amendment 0005 to solicitation N6247024R0001 for Base Operations Support (BOS) Services at U.S. Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay in Crete, Greece. The amendment revises Sections C, J and L, including the addition of a new technical specification for Pavement Clearance services requiring the contractor to provide airfield pavement sweeping and clearance using government-furnished equipment. The pavement clearance work includes scheduled sweeping of aircraft parking aprons and unscheduled sweeping services up to 4 times per year outside normal working hours with 90 minutes notice.
The amendment also modifies the Management and Administration specifications with updated requirements for security clearances, IT system access, safety programs, and accident reporting. Key changes include requirements for Tier 3 investigations for personnel accessing controlled unclassified information, procedures for obtaining base access passes, and detailed safety requirements for crane operations and critical lifts. The amendment maintains the original solicitation response date and does not extend the deadline. No pricing changes are indicated in this amendment.
