It provides definitions for different types of work orders and describes how to identify, enter, reclassify, and track work in the Maximo maintenance management system. It also establishes a process for facilities commands to annually update their Proper Work Classification Playbooks, which utilize mission dependency indexes to help determine work classifications. Playbook examples listed include those for EURAFSWA, FAREAST, HAWAII, MARIANAS, MIDLANT, NORTHWEST, SOUTHEAST, SOUTHWEST, and WASHINGTON.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Navy for base operations support services at the Naval Support Activity Northwest Annex in Chesapeake, Virginia. The solicitation seeks base operations support services and lists the contracting agency as the Naval Facilities Engineering Command.
