About this file
This document contains responses to contractor questions on a solicitation for construction of Marine Raider Regiment headquarters facilities at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. The solicitation requests construction of single-story steel frame buildings with brick veneer and standing seam metal roofs, along with miscellaneous supporting structures, utilities, parking, roadways, sidewalks, running trails and site work. Electrical, mechanical and information systems are also within scope. Bidders asked about acceptable wall systems, an extension to the bid due date, clarification of CLIN structures for furniture/AV design and purchase, valve and roof panel specifications, window references, and applicability of UFC and UFGS regulations. The government declined an extension and directed bidders to bid per the RFP, responding to technical questions within the amendments.
