TITLE OF PROJECT:
LONG-BASELINE NEUTRINO FACILITY ARGON RECEIVING
Offerors must acknowledge this Addendum prior to the hour and date set forth in the solicitation by one of the following methods:
1. By completing the Subcontractor Annual Representations and Certifications (SARC), or
2. By separate fax, letter, or email.
If by virtue of this Addendum you desire to change a proposal already submitted, such change may be made by email, provided such email clearly references the Solicitation number and this Amendment number and is received prior to the proposal due date.
Amendment No. 1 is issued to answer questions and to provide new technical files as follows:
Question No. 1: We would like to inquire whether there is a P&ID available that clearly delineates the scope boundaries for comparison with the specifications.
Answer No. 1: Yes, P&ID are currently available and provided with this Amendment. Please download the following four (4) attached files:
F10028336.01_Receiving Facilities_Track_Connections.pdf F10028336.02_Receiving Facilties_Storage_Ar_Dewars_1_and_2.pdf F10028336.03_Receiving Facilties_Storage_Ar_Dewars_3_and_4.pdf F10028336.04_Receiving Facilties_Gas Analyzers_pdf
Question No. 2: Could you please confirm if there is a supplementary instrumentation list included?
Answer No. 2: We do not have instrumentation list. However the P&IDs depict everything we anticipate (the final design is by the Subcontractor, so this could change as well)
Question No. 3: Regarding the 3D model provided, there are only a few ball valves included, Given their uncommon and potentially hazardous use in cryogenic applications, I would like to confirm, are these valves intended solely for illustrative purposes?
Answer No. 3: The 3D model is only a reference design – the valves there are for illustrative purposed only.
All other provisions remain unchanged.
