About this file

This document contains five Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) establishing format and preparation standards for deliverables required under a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) contract managed by the NAS Power Services Group. The contract involves site survey, design, and installation services for power systems work.

The five DIDs specify the following deliverables: (1) Program Plan (FAA-M001) describing the contractor's management structure, organization, and subcontract management approach, formatted in hard copy and MS Word with organizational and functional relationship charts; (2) Program Management Report (FAA-M002) providing status updates on program projects and task orders in MS Excel and hard copy, including task order numbers, award dates, work descriptions, dollar values, completion dates, and modification details, submitted annually, quarterly, or weekly as required; (3) Site Survey Report (FAA-E001) documenting site investigations in multiple formats including MS Word, Excel, Project, and AutoCAD files, with cost estimates organized by Construction Specification Institute divisions; (4) Design Documents (FAA-E002) comprising engineering designs, specifications in CSI three-part format, reproducible drawings on FAA "D" size sheets, and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, Coordination Studies, and Short Circuit Analysis using SKM software, all submitted in editable digital and hard copy formats; and (5) Site Preparation and Installation Documents (FAA-E003) including Division 1 specifications, power cutover schedules, construction schedules, equipment start-up test reports, Contractor Acceptance Inspection Forms, as-built drawings, and pre-construction documentation. All deliverables require submission via email, FAA's Knowledge Services Network (KSN), or as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), with the government reserving the right to update software version requirements as agency systems evolve.
