1. This amendment provides additional instructions for the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submission, specifically it identifies what elements of the project scope should be estimated by the CMc team, and what elements should be "estimated" using pricing assumption provided by GSA. The pricing assumptions provided must be included in the GMP (appropriately burdened).
2. Attached Documents (titles in Capital Bold):
06-09 Scope Changes and Cost Summary - WITH PRICING ASSUMPTIONS
3. The amounts (pricing assumptions) cited on the attachment are unburdened (they do not include general conditions, site logistics, prime fees, bonding and insurance). They should be treated/considered subcontractor bid amounts.
4. General conditions include staffing cost for site office personnel. General Conditions should not include site logistics or field labor. Field labor is Superintendent and below, and should be treated/considered site logistics.
5. Site logistics cost should include Superintendent; Assistant Superintendent(s); security; clean-up; crane rentals; temporary fencing; portable toilets, and related/like costs.
6. General conditions and site logistics should be estimated as separate elements.
7. Offerors should schedule a 1 hour telecon with GSA (Chad O'Brien) to discuss questions or clarifications needed for amendment 5 and 6. The telecon should be scheduled to occur before Friday October 17.
