About this file

This document is a federal solicitation provision (52.212-2) for evaluating commercial products and commercial services. The government will award a purchase order to the most advantageous quotation based on three key evaluation factors: Technical/Quality, Veterans' Involvement, and Price. For technical evaluation, authorized distributors must provide an OEM distributor letter, and quoters must demonstrate compliance with salient characteristics. The Veterans' Involvement factor provides evaluation credit for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) who are registered in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database and meet federal small business size standards. Pricing will be evaluated by totaling all line-item prices, including options, to determine the Total Evaluated Price.
