About this file
This document is a FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) 52.225-2 Buy American Certificate from October 2022, which requires offerors to certify the origin and domestic content of end products in a federal solicitation. The provision mandates that offerors identify domestic and foreign end products, specifying line item numbers and countries of origin for foreign products. Offerors must also indicate whether foreign end products exceed 55 percent domestic content, with special considerations for commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items and products containing critical components. The Government will evaluate offers according to Part 25 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, which governs the purchase of supplies with specific requirements for American-made products.
