About this file
This document provides details on a federal contract opportunity and associated government systems access requirements. The federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia for C-130 Contract Depot Maintenance and Mid-Cycle Paint services to address overflow work that cannot be completed organically. The anticipated five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract will utilize firm fixed price and other pricing arrangements and intends to make one award to an offeror within the continental United States, with foreign companies not permitted to compete. The associated document outlines system access requirements and points of contact for various government systems involved in C-130 maintenance like the Automated Inspection, Repair, Corrosion and Aircraft Tracking system, Joint Engineering Data Management Information Control System, and others.

Step 1: Sponsorship & Eligibility
Applicants for a CAC must be sponsored by a DoD government official, employee or person affiliated with other federal agency
Step 2: Registration & Enrollment
Contractors will need to be registered into the Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS) by a Trusted Agent (TA) Contractors must have the following background investigations: National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI), or equivalent investigation, and a favorable FBI fingerprint check.
Once the TA has enrolled you in TASS, the TA will provide you with a user ID and password. You must log into TASS within seven days of the application's approval and must complete the application for a CAC within 30 days of the initial login.
Step 3: Obtaining a CaC
If approved, the contractor must go to a Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS) site for final verification and processing.
Contractors must return their CACs to their TA at the completion or termination of a contract.
