VANCE AFB

Repair Taxilane at Taxiway E (Pri 1) could force the only Taxiway south on the apron to close, and reroute traffic around the closure. This would cause Vance to close to all transient traffic larger than a T-1A.

Repair Apron Lighting (Pri 4) will provide a brighter safer work environment during night flying weeks. The current lighting is well maintained and functions properly but is very uneven across the apron. Construct Flight Line Shelter Power (Pri 5) is a companion project for this project.

Construct NDI Addition F130 (Pri 2) will provide a proper training room that will also function as a break room. The addition will be away from the X-ray area. Currently anyone in their storage/training/break room has to wear radiation badges since the room has a old door into the X-ray area.

Construct Airfield Lighting (Pri 9) will address two airfield waivers and will eliminate one.

The table above is not populated because maintaining the AMPs is not part of the current Base Operating Support (BOS) contract. The initial Vance AFB AMPs were completed during a one-time event in 2009 and have not been updated since that time. All legacy system (ACES-PM) data is accurate and up to date as required by the BOS contract.
