AMENDMENT OF SOLICITATION/MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT

The purpose of this Amendment is to:
1. Update the Fire Emergency Services in PWS Section 11-03 para 11.3.6.1.
2. Update the Fire Emergency Services w orkload in PWS Section 11-05 para 11B.4. Fire Emergency Services.
3. Update PWS Section 18-1 Fire Emergency Services.
4. Delete Family Child Care in CLINs 0049, 1049, 2049, 3049, 4049 and in PWS Section 28-1 Para 28.1.8.2.
5. Changes in the PWS are highlighted in yellow . See Summary of Changes and the attached PWS Sections 11-03, 11-05 and 18-01.

Summary of Changes for Amendment 008
1. Paragraph 18.1.2.1 various word changes .
2. Paragraph 18.1.2.2 deleted “two Emergency Medical Technicians –Basic (EMT-B) certified fire fighters” and deleted “This includes a minimum of one Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) certified firefighter.”
3. Paragraph 18.1.2.2.1 added “Semi”
4. Paragraph 18.1.2.2.5 added “and the Vance AFB supplement to AFI 32-2001”
5. Paragraph 18.1.2.3 added “Participate in the Fire Emergency Services Credentialing (FESCRE) program.” and “NexGen/”.
6. Paragraph 18.1.2.4.1. added “NexGEN”
7. Paragraph 18.1.2.5.4. added ” Fire Emergency Services will act as initial EMS responder and provide patient care at the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) level.” And added “at the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) level of care” and deleted “Ensure EMT-B certified and licensed FES personnel respond to EMS incidents. Added “The installation senior medical officer will provide the Service Provider with: EMS protocols; EMS program management oversight; and expendable supplies and durable equipment as specifically identified in the supply list approved by AF/SG3 and AF/A7C. Guidance for issuing supplies and equipment will be accomplished IAW AFI 41-209, paragraph 3.23, Medical Logistics Support. DHP funds shall not be used to purchase supplies and equipment items that are normally contained on FES response vehicles (i.e. backboards, extrication equipment, etc.).” Deleted “Provide a minimum of three Emergency Medical Technicians-Basic (EMT-B) certified and licensed fire fighters per 24 hour period at Vance and one EMT-B certified and licensed fire fighter at Kegelman AAF.”
Added “All Emergency Medical Responders shall be certified and registered by the State of Oklahoma IAW the current edition of the Emergency Response Systems Development Act, and Title 310 of the Oklahoma Administrative Code, Oklahoma State Department of Health Statutes and Regulations, Chapter 641, Emergency Medical Services.”
