Questions – Ft Carson Sample Project Answer – Ft Carson Sample Project
1. Should bidders assume there is any contaminated base course?
No.
2. Can any material be recycled on post? No, haul all materials off post. 10% shall be recycled.
3. What should be done with storm drain inlets? Protect and install thickened edge expansion joint around inlet.
4. Section 2.1.1.2 – Should the removed existing base material be replaced with C-Dot Class 5 base course? Is there a percentage of base material that should assumed to be removed and replaced in the proposal?
Assume only regrading (no import of base course) will be required for gravel adjacent to integral curbs.
5. Section 2.2.16.1 - Which project personnel will be required to submit driver’s license and registration information at the time proposal submission?
None.
6. Section 2.2.16.3 - How much time per employee should be assumed for Antiterrorism (AT) Level 1 Training and the annual OPSEC training?
3 (three) hours.
7. Section 2.2.16.4 - How much time per employee should be assumed for iWATCH Training?
1 (one) hour.
8. Section 2.2.16.5 - Will access cards be valid for the entire duration of the contract?
No, access cards will be granted for awarded task orders for the duration of the task order.

1. Should bidders assume the waterline will not be disturbed by stormwater line placement?
Yes.
2. Can smaller trees be used to replace mature trees, and if so what size?
Yes. 3" caliper.
3. Does the stormwater line have to be fully abated and removed?
Yes.
