About this file
This document is an evaluation narrative for BPM003384 - Nara Sin, which reviews proposals from multiple engineering and consulting firms for a project involving dam, hydrology, and boating access work. The companies evaluated include Cardno, DOWL, J2, JE Fuller, Natural Channel Design, Next Gen, Stantec, Tetra Tech, and Wilson. The document appears to be an internal assessment of each firm's project experience, design philosophy, understanding of common problems, and overall proposal quality, likely for a competitive solicitation in Arizona.
The evaluation focuses on each firm's relevant experience with dam inspections, Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), ALERT systems, hydrology, hydraulics, and boating access projects. Key evaluation criteria include project-specific expertise, design approach, quality assurance/quality control processes, and proposal presentation. While no specific contract details are provided, the narrative suggests the solicitation is seeking a firm with comprehensive technical capabilities in dam-related engineering, particularly for projects involving AZGFD (Arizona Game and Fish Department) and potential boating infrastructure improvements. The reviewers noted varying strengths among the proposing firms, with some having more direct experience in dam and boating access projects than others.
