About this file

This document contains detailed technical specifications for Attachment 6 of Request for Bid (RFB) 3061-26 issued by the New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services, Division of Procurement and Support Services, for spreader parts, dump bodies, and plows. The specifications establish comprehensive requirements for two primary plow configurations: single-wing and double-wing power tilt plow hitch and hydraulics systems. Each system must include complete power hydraulics, reversible plow functionality, front power tilt lifting devices, push frames, and hydraulic wing cabinets with minimum 43-inch lifting capacity. The hydraulic reservoirs must contain a minimum 40-gallon capacity with magnetic drain plugs, and all systems require REXROTH Model M4-12 valves controlled from the truck cab via remote cable control. Single-wing systems require six stackable control levers (three Model C8522X000, two Model C8523X000, and one Model C8521X000), while double-wing systems require nine stackable control levers (four Model C8522X000, four Model C8523X000, and one Model C8521X000). The contract term runs from November 1, 2025, through October 31, 2030, with potential two-year extensions.

All equipment must be constructed using Grade 8 fasteners and must include specific component specifications, including Mailhot double-acting cylinders with U-Cup type seals rated for 4,000 psi, Parker-Hannifin P50AT25CN15DDH filter assemblies with bypass, and Hydro-Craft HSG-55 sight level/temperature gauges. The hydraulic cabinet must be either American Snow Plows "P" Series, Viking "H" Series, or H.P.F. "DTH-CL" Series with no substitutes permitted. All cylinders carry a two-year warranty from in-service date. Equipment must be primed and painted Omaha Orange using lead-free paint and must comply with independent paint testing requirements. Vendors must supply two complete sets of Material Safety Data Sheets for all construction and coating materials before or at the time of first delivery. All plow frames must be shipped attached to a metal stand capable of vertical support and forklift handling. The operator control cables, hydraulic hoses, fittings, and piping are furnished by the State and are not included in the vendor's scope unless otherwise specified.
