About this file
This specification document relates to RFB 3061-26 for spreader parts, dump bodies, and plows, specifically detailing power tilt plow hitch and hydraulic systems for both single wing and double wing configurations for state snow removal equipment. The document outlines comprehensive technical requirements for complete power hydraulic systems including reversible plows, hydraulic wing cabinets with minimum 43-inch lifting capacity, parallel push arms, 40-gallon minimum oil reservoirs with magnetic drain plugs, and specific REXROTH Model M4-12 valves and cab controls for operating plows, wings, dump bodies, spreader conveyors, and spinners.
The specifications mandate specific component requirements including Mailhot double-acting cylinders with two-year warranties, AREN/QUADCO C80 Series Modular Controls for operator interfaces, and detailed hydraulic cabinet configurations with prescribed valve arrangements and part numbers. All equipment must be painted Omaha Orange lead-free finish and comply with independent paint testing requirements, with manufacturers required to provide Material Safety Data Sheets for all construction and coating materials before or at first delivery. The state will furnish operator control cables and hydraulic hoses separately, and successful vendors must mark systems according to different chassis models when delivered, with plow frames shipped on metal stands that support vertical positioning and forklift handling.
