STATEMENT OF WORK
MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (MACC)
ORIENTATION SEMINAR
16 January 2020
1. Objective
This Statement of Work describes the requirements for the Contractor to attend and participate in a one day MACC Orientation Seminar. The seminar will be held at Fairchild AFB, WA. The contractor will attend the conference and submit required deliverables detailed below. Seminar content will include various contract administration, security, design/engineering perspectives and construction management information. Results of the seminar are expected to set the framework for solid partnering, increased base familiarity, and clarification of processes/perspectives. The seminar is not intended to discuss or change contract requirements.
2. Scope
The Contractor shall attend and participate in the MACC Orientation Seminar at Fairchild AFB, WA. This conference is intended as an orientation to the MACC program for Fairchild AFB. The seminar shall provide a program overview covering several topics, as follows:
Partnering Government/Contractor Design Build Philosophies Program Management o Contract Administration o Cost and Change Controls
Project Management o Quality Control Program (i.e., quality control vs. quality assurance, superintendence) o Design management o Construction management o Security/Philosophies (i.e. FPCONS, Base security requirements) o Site specifics associated with the base
Base Design Standards
IFS
Environmental requirements.
The orientation seminar will be conducted in an open communications environment.
Cross flow of information and ideas is paramount to the seminar’s success.
Exact date and time for this conference will be scheduled after basic contract award.

3. Taskings and Deliverables
a. As a minimum, the Contractor’s Program Manager and Design Team Member shall attend the seminar. It is highly encouraged for other key team members to attend who are intimately involved with contract administration, design/build, superintendence, quality control, construction management and program/project management.
b. The Contractor shall deliver the following information to the 92d Contracting Squadron 2 weeks prior to the scheduled seminar date:
• One copy of the contact information for the seminar attendees, to include their name, social security number, date of birth and company for base access
• Contract Management Staff Plan, defining roles (to include signatory authority) and contact information
• Primary Quality Control Plan
• Primary Health and Safety Plan
• No more than 3 questions, issues, or concerns pertaining to the overall contract. The Government will endeavor to address all inquiries received from the Contractor.
c. Email all deliverables 2 weeks prior to the scheduled seminar date to Heather
Rogers (heather.rogers.9@us.af.mil) or deliver to:
