About this file
This document outlines requirements for maintaining project record documents for a federal contract to upgrade the cooling towers at the National Institute of Standards and Technology Building 42 in Boulder, Colorado. The contractor must keep one set of marked-up drawings and shop drawings incorporating revisions, and must accurately record information about dimensional changes, equipment locations, concealed utilities, and other details varying from original contract drawings. The contractor must also maintain product data submittals noting any variations from submittals, and must organize digital records of drawings and product data in separate electronic files for submission to the Contracting Officer's Representative. Proper storage and access requirements for maintained record documents are also specified.
