SUBMITTALS
Submit under provisions of Section 01300.
Shop Drawings: Indicate bar sizes, spacings, locations, and quantities of reinforcing steel and wire fabric, bending and cutting schedules, and supporting and spacing devices.
Manufacturer's Certificate: Certify that products meet or exceed specified requirements.
1.05
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Perform Work in accordance with ACI 301, ACI SP‑66 and ACI 318.
Submit certified copies of mill test report of reinforcement materials analysis.
Provide COR with access to fabrication plant to facilitate inspection of reinforcement. Provide notification of commencement and duration of shop fabrication in sufficient time to allow inspection.
1.06
QUALIFICATIONS
Design reinforcement under direct supervision of a Professional Structural Engineer experienced in design of this work and licensed in the State of New Mexico.
Welders' Certificates: Submit under provisions of Section 01300 Manufacturer's Certificates, certifying welders employed on the Work, verifying AWS qualification within the previous twelve (12) months.

COORDINATION
Coordinate work under provisions of General Requirements.
Coordinate with placement of formwork, formed openings, and other Work.
Masonry Joint Reinforcement: ASTM A82, unfinished.
PART 2 -seq level1 \h \r0 seq level2 \h \r0
PRODUCTS
2.01
REINFORCEMENT
Reinforcing Steel: ASTM A615, 40 or 60 ksi yield grade; deformed billet steel bars, unfinished.
B. Welded Steel Wire Fabric: ASTM A185 plain type; in flat sheets; unfinished.
2.02
ACCESSORY MATERIALS
Tie Wire: Minimum 16 gage annealed type.
Chairs, Bolsters, Bar Supports, Spacers: Sized and shaped for strength and support of reinforcement during concrete placement conditions including load bearing pad on bottom to prevent vapor barrier puncture.
Special Chairs, Bolsters, Bar Supports, Spacers Adjacent to Weather Exposed Concrete Surfaces: Plastic coated steel type; size and shape as required.
2.03
FABRICATION
Fabricate concrete reinforcing in accordance with ACI SP‑66 and ACI 318.
Weld reinforcement in accordance with ANSI/AWS D1.4 and ANSI/AWS D12.1.
Locate reinforcing splices not indicated on drawings, at point of minimum stress. Review location of splices with COR.

EXECUTION
3.01
PLACEMENT
Place, support, and secure reinforcement against displacement. Do not deviate from required position.
Do not displace or damage vapor barrier.
Accommodate placement of formed openings.
D.
Conform to ACI 318 code for concrete cover over reinforcement.

FIELD QUALITY CONTROL

Field inspection will be performed under provisions of General Requirements.
PART 4 - MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT
4.01
MEASUREMENT
The work specified herein will not be measured for payment.
4.02
PAYMENT
This work is incidental to other items in this contract and direct separate item payments will not be made.
