About this file
This document is a Request for Standard Form (SF) 330 Architect-Engineer Qualifications for a federal contract opportunity. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking Architect-Engineer (A-E) services for the design of a new Radiation Oncology Building in Lexington, Kentucky. The anticipated construction cost is between $10-20 million for a 14,000 sq ft single-story facility. Key requirements include site investigation, radiation shielding design, installation of linear accelerators and CT simulators, and construction period services.
The A-E selection process will involve evaluating SF 330 submissions based on criteria such as specialized experience, professional qualifications, capacity, past performance, and knowledge of the local area. The contract is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) certified by the SBA. Proposals are due by 5:00 PM ET on October 16, 2024, and the VA expects to award the contract in late January 2025 with a 280-day design completion period.
