About this file
This is a Construction Sequence specification document for ITB No. 26-403/DL 01014, issued by a Florida authority for the Rehabilitation of Manholes, Sanitary Stations and Wet Wells - Phased Projects. The project encompasses rehabilitation of twenty-six (26) manholes, thirteen (13) Detection Stations, two (2) Pump Stations, five (5) Sanitary Lift Stations, and replacement of eleven (11) Manhole Covers and Rims within Class I and Class III landfill leachate collection systems. The work includes cleaning and protective coatings and will be performed in phases. The contract term is an initial two (2) year period with an option to renew for an additional one (1) year at the Authority's sole discretion. The contractor must be a licensed and authorized Warren Environmental products applicator with a minimum of five (5) years' experience and must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for construction as detailed in the contract documents. Bidders must submit responses electronically through Bonfire by the date and time specified in the solicitation, and the Authority will not consider responses received by other means.
The specification document establishes critical construction constraints and coordination requirements that the contractor must manage throughout the project. The contractor is required to submit a coordination schedule within ten (10) days of notice to proceed for approval by the Owner, including plans for utilizing common areas and coordinating with other on-site contractors and landfill operations. The contractor must provide forty-eight (48) hours' notice before beginning work on pump stations, manholes, or wet wells and is responsible for system shutdown, flow diversion, and bypass pump units to maintain continuous flow during rehabilitation. All debris must be disposed of at the landfill, and temporary access roads must be maintained at two-way minimum twenty (20) feet wide capacity to ensure continued access to the Class I landfill area and compost facility for all vehicles, including semi-trailer trucks, throughout the construction period. The contractor bears full responsibility for any damage to existing equipment, which must be repaired and restored to original condition or replaced at no cost to the Owner.
