About this file
This document is a Section 01300 Submittals specification for ITB No. 26-403/DL issued by a Florida authority for the Rehabilitation of Manholes, Sanitary Stations and Wet Wells - Phased Projects. The project involves rehabilitation of twenty-six (26) manholes, thirteen (13) detection stations, two (2) pump stations, five (5) sanitary lift stations, and replacement of eleven (11) manhole covers and rims within Class I and Class III landfill leachate collection systems. The work includes cleaning and protective coatings and will be executed in phases. The contract term is an initial two (2) year period with an option to renew for an additional one (1) year at the authority's discretion. The contractor must be a licensed and authorized Warren Environmental products applicator with a minimum of five (5) years' experience and shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for construction. Bidders must submit responses electronically through Bonfire by the specified deadline, with questions and clarification requests also submitted through Bonfire by the designated date.
The specification establishes comprehensive submittal requirements categorized as Action Submittals (shop drawings, product data, samples, warranties, and bonds) and Informational Submittals (construction schedules and photography). The contractor must implement a 10-character submittal identification numbering system and maintain a detailed submittal log. Shop drawings require a minimum thirty (30) calendar day review period by the owner, with submissions requiring the contractor's certification statement and approval stamp. The contractor bears responsibility for submittal accuracy, timely submission, and coordination with other trades, with delays resulting from untimely submittals constituting inexcusable delays ineligible for time or cost extensions. The owner will review submittals no more than twice at the owner's expense; subsequent reviews will be conducted at the contractor's expense based on the owner's prevailing rates. Approved samples and shop drawings must match final work, and no work may commence without prior owner approval of applicable submittals.
