About this file
This document is a Utilities Clear certification from Collier County's Transportation Management Services Department for the 16th Street NE Bridge project (FM #: 451283-1-58-01). The proposed roadway improvements involve constructing a new bridge and widening the existing roadway to the west, which will include 11-foot travel lanes with 6-foot shoulders (4-foot paved plus 2-foot unpaved) along the entire project length. The bridge will be 50 feet, 5.0 inches wide and 147 feet, 0.5 inches long, featuring two 12-foot travel lanes, a 6-foot shoulder and sidewalk on the west side, and a 12-foot shoulder on the east side.
The certification, dated April 9, 2024, is from Dennis F. McCoy, Project Manager III, to Zoe Giannopoulos, FDOT LAP Design Project Manager, and confirms that all utility work has been completed or necessary arrangements have been made to coordinate with the physical construction schedule. The project includes minor drainage modifications to existing roadside swales and the installation of new concrete driveways up to the existing right-of-way. The document is part of the Local Agency Project (LAP) process, indicating collaboration between Collier County and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
