About this file
This is a utility conflict coordination email from Kisinger Campo & Associates Corp. (KCA), the design Engineer of Record for the Collier County Transportation Management Services Department, to the City of Naples Utilities Department regarding the 16th Street NE Bridge Project (FPID No. 451283-1-58-01). The project involves construction of a bridge servicing 16th Street NE and roadway improvements in Naples, Florida. KCA requested formal confirmation from the City of Naples that no conflicts exist with the City's existing 36-inch raw watermain located within the project limits. The request included Phase III construction documents covering roadway plans, structures plans, signal plans, lighting plans, and a utility conflict matrix for the City's review. A "No Conflict" response was requested by close of business Friday, September 22, 2023. On September 13, 2023, Julia Vasilevitsky, Engineering Aide with the City of Naples Utilities Department, provided formal written confirmation that there would be no conflict with the project, indicating the City would not participate in the coordination call but submitted the required "No Conflict" response.
The communication served as part of the Local Agency Program (LAP) checklist documentation requirements for the larger 16th Street NE Bridge Project, which is a grant-funded infrastructure improvement project with a total budget of approximately $26,361,418. This utility coordination email represents standard project protocol to ensure that existing municipal infrastructure owned by the City of Naples would not be adversely impacted by the county's proposed construction activities, with all correspondence directed to Jesse E. Gill, P.E., Team Leader for Roadway Design at Kisinger Campo & Associates Corp.
