About this file
This is a Utility Work Schedule (Form 14-46.001 F.A.C.) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in coordination with TECO Peoples Gas regarding utility relocation and adjustment requirements for the 16th Street NE Bridge Project (Financial Project ID: 45123-1-58-01) located in Collier County, Florida. The schedule, dated December 14, 2016, and based on FDOT plans dated April 2023, documents the utility work activities required to accommodate the project. The document identifies one primary utility work activity: relocation and adjustment of an 8-inch coated steel gas main extending from Station 504+41 (50 feet right) to Station 524+58 (50 feet right), which will remain in place. The utility work schedule indicates zero calendar days are required prior to FDOT project construction and zero calendar days during construction, indicating minimal project impact or that utility adjustments are not critical path items for the 520-day construction schedule. TECO Peoples Gas is represented by Project Manager Alex McFarlane (813-557-6134) and Field Representative Nicholas Foster (239-898-9230), with the FDOT Roadway Engineer of Record and Utility Coordinator identified as Jesse E. Gill, P.E.
The utility work schedule establishes the formal agreement between FDOT and TECO Peoples Gas regarding the utility accommodation process, requiring TECO to obtain appropriate utility permits and comply with all requirements of the 2017 Utility Accommodation Manual. TECO Peoples Gas must provide written notification to FDOT and the contractor prior to starting, stopping, resuming, and completing work in accordance with the schedule. The document acknowledges that TECO is not responsible for events beyond its control that could not be reasonably anticipated or avoided through due diligence. The schedule requires that any deviation by FDOT or its contractor from the April 2023 FDOT plans may void this utility work schedule, and upon notification of plan changes, the parties may negotiate a revised schedule. As of February 14, 2024, the utility work schedule was signed and approved by the Engineer of Record, indicating readiness for implementation concurrent with the project's anticipated construction timeline.

December 14, 2016
