About this file
This document is Amendment 05 for the Slip 36 Clean-Up and Waterfront Recapitalization project at USCG Base Seattle. The amendment provides Section 01 50 00 - Temporary Construction Facilities and Controls, which outlines detailed requirements for contractor temporary facilities, safety systems, and site management during the project. Key requirements include providing two separate trailers for government personnel with specific amenities such as heating/cooling, office equipment, furniture, safety gear, reference materials, and technological resources like computers, internet, and communication systems.
The section specifies extensive details for the trailers, including minimum space requirements, electrical outlets, plumbing facilities, storage containers, parking spaces, and furnishings. The contractor must maintain the facilities in good condition, ensure proper anchoring, provide safety equipment (25 hard hats, 50 safety glasses, safety vests, gloves), and restore the site to its original condition upon project completion. The document emphasizes strict protocols for site security, weather protection, communications, fencing, traffic control, and overall site management throughout the construction process.
