About this file
This document is a Project Management and Coordination specification section (Section 01 31 00.01) for the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project at the Sousley VA Campus in Lexington, Kentucky. The specification mandates the use of a web-based Project management software package (such as Procore or Oracle Primavera Submittal Exchange) to manage project communications and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Key software requirements include compilation of project data, access control for entities, document workflow planning, tracking of project communications (RFIs, submittals, change orders), real-time status tracking, PDF markup procedures, payment application processing, meeting minute distribution, and document management.
The specification requires the contractor to provide software user licenses for the Owner, Architect, and Architect's consultants, and to provide eight hours of software training. At project completion, a digital archive must be created in a format readable by common desktop software applications and provided in a locked format to prevent further changes. The document emphasizes comprehensive digital project management, ensuring transparent and controlled communication among all project stakeholders throughout the construction process.
