About this opportunity

The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is soliciting proposals for ongoing WordPress development support and related digital platform services with proposals due October 28, 2026, and questions due October 6, 2026. Site registration and application approval on the ARC procurement website must precede proposal submission.

ARC maintains a diverse ecosystem of WordPress websites and web-based tools supporting regional planning, communications, public engagement, and organizational operations. The scope includes custom theme and plugin development, WordPress maintenance, accessibility remediation to WCAG 2.1 AA standards, infrastructure and operational support, and strategic modernization services. The consultant must provide their own hardware and software, work in Microsoft Teams, and may be required to work at ARC's Atlanta offices. Travel costs are not reimbursed.

The contract runs for one year with options to renew annually for two additional years, on an as-needed basis. ARC cannot guarantee support requests will be requested during the contract term and reserves the right not to request any support work. The selected consultant should be prepared to begin work immediately upon award, anticipated by January 2027. Monthly invoicing applies.

Evaluation criteria are weighted as follows: development and design expertise (45%), relevant experience and references (20%), accessibility expertise (15%), hourly rates (10%), and understanding of ARC or related organizations (10%). Proposals are limited to 10 pages (excluding cover, table of contents, resumes, and cost proposals) and must include firm qualifications, relevant project experience with examples, professional resumes, and hourly rates in the specified format. An internal ARC review committee will evaluate proposals, with an option for shortlisted firms to participate in interviews. Respondents must complete the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit and provide contractor/vendor information as required by the contract forms in the RFP. Proposals must be submitted as one combined document via email to procurement@atlantaregional.org with the subject line "ARC Website Support Services RFP."
