Personnel assigned to Transportation Security Laboratory posts may require Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information access. All contractor personnel must be U.S. citizens, minimum age 21, and English-language proficient.
The contractor must furnish uniforms, equipment, seven operational vehicles (6 pickup trucks, 1 SUV), 9mm semi-automatic firearms, ammunition, ballistic protective equipment (7 sets Level IV body armor, 7 Level IIIA helmets, 5 Level IIIA shields), radio communications systems (FCC Type Accepted), and maintain daily desk logs, incident reports, visitor logs, and lost-and-found records. The Contractor Guard Manual must address 26 specified topics, and a personnel recall system must deploy 8 additional guards within one hour for surge operations.
The contract structure includes a 2-month transition period, a 12-month base period, and four optional 12-month extension periods, beginning February 1, 2027.
