About this file
This document provides responses to questions on Amendment 0012 to solicitation number W912WJ21B0017 for environmental remediation services at the Stratford Army Engine Plant in Stratford, Connecticut. The amendment clarifies the scope of dredging approximately 13,000 cubic yards of sediments from the OF-008 drainage channel to remediate metals and PCBs. Dredged materials must be dewatered, solidified with cementitious materials and placed on-site, with a small portion requiring off-site disposal at approved landfills. The stockpile area in the North Parking Lot may be decreased to match the contract scope. Silt fences and other erosion controls are at the contractor's discretion to comply with specifications. The construction site for utility locating is only in excavation areas.
