About this file
This document provides details of a federal contract opportunity for environmental remediation services at the Stratford Army Engine Plant in Stratford, Connecticut. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a small business set aside invitation for bid to dredge and dispose of approximately 13,000 cubic yards of sediment affected by metals and PCBs from an outfall drainage channel on the plant property. Dredged material must be dewatered, solidified with cementitious materials and placed on-site for future beneficial reuse, with a small portion requiring off-site disposal at approved landfills. The successful offeror will be required to provide equipment and materials for dredging and processing sediment over a 12.5 month period of performance. Interested sources must access the System for Award Management website to download the solicitation, with any questions to be directed to the specified Contract Specialist.
