About this file
This document contains flowcharts outlining the management procedures for satellite accumulation areas and pharmaceutical waste at an unspecified location. The flowcharts provide guidance on proper waste labeling, segregation, storage practices, inspection schedules, and contact information for waste removal. Key details include segregating reactive, ignitable, acidic, caustic, corrosive, flammable and oxidizing wastes. Pharmaceutical waste streams are identified by specific codes and profiles. Procedures describe maintaining waste containers in good condition, overpacking leaking containers, and immediately cleaning spills. The document establishes requirements for appointing a satellite accumulation area manager and submitting an annual authorization letter request.
