See RFI #28

Sitework: Page 304 detail 5 shows the concrete slab/apron detail but the thickness of gravel needed isn’t stated. Also, a spec for the Engineered structural fill is not provided. So, we are looking for the thickness and type of material.

See revised plan C-304 issued as part of AMENDMENT 002.

Also, the gravel thicknesses for the floor is only 6” as shown on detail A2 page s-

501. This seems low compared to the other gravel requirements on the project, so I wanted to double check that.

Detail A2/S-501 refers to gravel under the foundation. Not the 'floor'. The 6" gravel under the foundation is a recommendation of the project Geotechnical engineer.

Reference C-307, Detail 1, the plan shows a 3” copper water line. 3” copper is not available. What size should be used in its place. The closest options are 4” DI or 2”copper.

Provide 3" diamater copper water line as shown. If a 3" diameter copper water line is not available, provide a 4" diameter copper water line.

Interior fall protection scope, 112429: Please confirm that a single fall protection track is acceptable for the three users, or if bypass is required (necessitating three tracks)

Refer to specification 11 24 29 - Fall Protection System. Paragraph 2.1.B states, "Single track or dual track fall arrest system...." Three track is not required.

Single track or dual track acceptable as long as the system will support three users simultaneously. Bypass is not required.

Fire protection drawing FS001 shows area A as extra hazard. On drawing FS101 it shows area A as ordinary hazard, please advise.

See revised plan FS001 issued as part of AMENDMENT 002.
